Now

This is a now page, a place to share what I'm focused on at this point in my life. Last updated: December 29, 2025

Current Work

TalkingPoints - AI Operations

Built an AI-powered MCP server that lets anyone in our organization explore our data warehouse through natural conversation with Claude—asking questions, diving deeper with follow-ups, and getting insights with full context. Currently focused on refining the user experience and driving adoption across teams.

Key metric: Reduced time-to-insight from days to minutes for program teams.

Relod - IoT Pilot

Running pilots with a few cafés and bars in San Francisco and Berkeley. With stable hardware and software in place, we're now focused on measuring product-market fit and expanding to new pilot locations.

Tacos de Datos - One-Person Agentic Company

Launched a full editorial operation powered by 6 AI agents: Editor-in-Chief, Chief of Design, CTO, Chief Growth Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Community Director. From podcast inspiration to published Substack post ("Seis empleados que no existen") in under one week.

Currently planning a week-long content series for 2026 through agent-driven deep research on trending topics.

Learning & Experimenting

Technical Deep Dives

  • iOS/Swift Development - First serious foray into Apple ecosystem development with Claude Code as pair programmer. Built two complete apps and a 2D game in under a month.
  • MCP Servers for Data Democratization - Building Model Context Protocol servers that let non-technical stakeholders query Snowflake through natural language. PMs already finding bugs through self-service exploration.
  • Personal Knowledge Infrastructure - Connecting Granola transcripts → Obsidian vault → Git versioning → AI agent access. The backbone for the agentic editorial system.
  • Frictionless Tool Design - Building tools that serve people at the lowest cognitive cost: Siri integration, ADHD-friendly interfaces, calm and focused interactions.

Side Projects

  • Focus Tiles - ADHD-friendly focus timer for iOS. My first daily-driver app I built myself. Color-coded tiles, activity ribbons, Siri commands. Actually helping with my mental health.
  • Stepwalker - 2D iOS game with HealthKit integration, procedural terrain generation, and custom sprite assets (4 characters with directional animations). My first game dev project.
  • Amox - Git-versioned Obsidian vault powering the TDD Editors Room. Agents clone the evergreen branch for full knowledge base access.
  • Granola Backup - Slash command that backs up meeting transcripts and AI summaries to Obsidian. Part of the knowledge infrastructure.
  • Relod - Running pilots with cafés in SF and Berkeley. Hardware and software stable, now focused on PMF validation.

Thinking About

Temporal arbitrage in AI workflows: When agents complete work in parallel timelines while you sleep, who actually did the labor? I'm fascinated by this new economy where we harvest outputs from time that technically never existed - not faster work, but work displaced into alternate temporal dimensions.

Invisible knowledge architectures: Every day millions of parent-teacher conversations, git commits, and sensor readings create vast patterns we've never been able to see. We're sitting on decades of collective intelligence about how communities actually function, trapped in formats too scattered to analyze until now. What happens When we tap into this invisible fountain of knowledge?

The anxiety inversion of AI crews: Working with multiple specialized agents doesn't just distribute tasks - it fundamentally changes the psychological experience of building. That familiar dread of "hope this doesn't break anything" transforms into confidence when you have specialists watching your blind spots. The cognitive load doesn't disappear; it redistributes.

AI colonialism and linguistic sovereignty:The homogenization of language through English-dominant LLMs isn't just a technical limitation - it's a form of cultural erasure happening in real time. What does sovereignty mean in an AI era?
